3 Ways To Keep Your Blogging Mojo Alive

There are many reasons why people choose to blog. Some do it for their business, others for their profession, and others just enjoy blogging. However, most bloggers want a blog that is successful and reaches readers. Blogging can be an amazing way to express your thoughts and feelings while telling your story–but it takes a lot of hard work to make it happen. And we lose our blogging mojo sometimes.

Blogging can be full of ups and downs. There are days you’ll feel like the most sought-after, successful blogger in the world, and there are other days when your blog feels like a chore. Finding blogging passion and being committed to that passion is key to being successful as a blogger.

Even the most skilled writer needs inspiration. It’s easy to get discouraged and feel bored with blogging after a few months of doing it. But what if there was an easier way to find that passion you’re looking for? People have different passions, but they all share one common trait: they love what they do.

Here are a few things to follow to keep your blogging mojo alive and keep writing with passion and joy.

Find your passion

Blogging is something we start to express our thoughts and share them with others. We can express our best if we are interested and passionate about something. Identify what makes you feel passionate and energized and make it your blogging passion. It could be a hobby, a skill, or an interest that you have that you want to share with the world.

Once you identify the passionate topic, blogging will be fun and enjoyable rather than a task to be done. Understand what makes you happy and follow that. You need to be eager and enjoy writing every time. The happier you are the best will be the writing. Finding blogging passion is important because it will help keep readers coming back for more content from you!

You can be passionate about only one specific thing which itself can produce huge content and you can continue to write on that for years. But you can also be passionate about different things and write about many things. So check on all the different things you are interested in and try to write on different topics than your regular content. You can create content based on your experience, it could be on places you visited, something you ate or cooked, something you learned, and so on.

Stay commited

Identifying your passions is important because it will help you grow your blog. When you know what your passions are, you can be more authentic and connect with your audience on a deeper level. You’ll also feel more motivated to blog often, which will pay off in the long run. Even though we enjoy the topics we write, we need time and energy to create a post and share it.

Being passionate helps us to not get bored or sidetracked with what we write. But it is not the only fuel, being committed to writing is important. We need to schedule or plan for a dedicated time to write every day or week, enough to create posts as often as possible. Dedicated passion can create wonders, you are committing to do something you enjoy and no one can stop it. You will be very much eager to start in that dedicated time.

For Ex: If you promise a kid that you will take them to Disney World every weekend if they complete all the homework and chores every day of the week. They will be so dedicated to their day-to-day work and eager to go to Disney World on the weekend. In the same way, you also will be eager and ready to write if you have planned to write on things you are passionate about.

Reboo(s)t yourself

As time passes, we lose our interest or what I call, mojo to write. That doesn’t mean we don’t have anything to offer, it is just human tendency to lose interest in things we constantly do. We need that push or boost to keep that passion alive and to keep writing the best we can.

Take your mind away from writing for some time, take a break. Reset your brain. Learn something new, or work on other hobbies or projects. Inspiration can also help to bring you back to track. It could be a quote, some article you read, a photo, or something even in our day-to-day conversations.

Read other blog articles which interests you, connect with other bloggers via social media, redesign/optimize your blog site and social media platform. Do everything to bring blogging mojo back.

Conclusion

Identifying your passions is important because it will help you grow your blog. When you know what your passions are, you can be more authentic and connect with your audience on a deeper level. You’ll also feel more motivated to blog often, which will pay off in the long run.

Look at the things that get you excited in your everyday life. What do you enjoy doing? What are your hobbies?

Think about what makes you laugh and smile. What topics make you feel good?

Is there a certain feeling or emotion that always brings you joy and happiness? A topic that always makes your day better?

When something no longer brings us joy, we should explore new paths, which is why we need to find our passion in blogging. This will help us find a topic or angle that will excite us each time we think about it, which will make writing more enjoyable and less of a chore.
